Want to customize the login background of your Mac? Maybe you want to brand it with your company wallpaper or have it match the wallpaper that the user sees when they log in. Well, Apple has made this really simple to do in Yosemite with a single file change.
Have you wanted to brand your OSX machines for your end user experience, but still let the end user be able to customize their wallpaper? In OSX Yosemite (10.10.*), this is pretty simple to accomplish.
Recently I was tasked with figuring out a way to limit our student accounts from being able to send emails out to a large portion of our mailing lists/groups. The first option, blocking all emails except from owners and managers of the groups worked out great! Except they were the only users that could email those lists. Not a great fit, but do-able.
Next you can update your site name, avatar and other options using the _config.yml file in the root of your repository (shown below).
